He completed his medical training at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic’s main campus in Rochester, MN and has over 15 years of experience with diagnosing and treating patients with severe eye disease. Dr Solano’s expertise includes medical, laser, and surgical treatments of glaucoma.

He was founder and CEO of Devicix, a medical device product development firm acquired by Nortech System, Inc (NSYS), Sr. Vice President of Operations and Business Development of Enteromedics (ETRM), and Co-Founder of FocusStart, a medical device technology company.

Amy Dixon, PLY

Director, Patient Advococy

Amy Dixon is a Tokyo 2020 Paralympian in the sport of triathlon.  She is an 8-Time World Cup Gold Medalist, 4-time Cycling and Triathlon National Champion and the reigning ITU Aquathlon World Champion.  In addition to her athletic career, Amy works as a spokesperson, patient advocate and expert speaker in the eye care, mental health, and immune health industries, working with biotech, MedTech and pharma to improve patient outcomes.  She founded Glaucoma Eyes International, serving now 30,000 patients worldwide through her networks.  Amy also founded Camp No Sight No Limits, to encourage the next generation of blind athletes to pursue greatness.  She has received recognition from State Senators Blumenthal and Congressman Levins for her advocacy work and the 2020 Visionary Award from the Glaucoma Research Foundation. She is a 13-year member of the Lions Club and is fighting daily to bring faster, better care to eye disease patients and improve outcomes through education.

Brian Mohney, MD

He has served as a physician, researcher, and educator at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for the past 20 years and leads the pediatric ophthalmology fellowship training program. His area of expertise focuses on pediatric eye disorders.

John Berdahl, MD

Dr. Jodi Star

Dr. Jodi Star is a quadruple board certified, as well as Pediatric residency trained, psychiatrist with over 20 years’ experience in clinical care, research and education.  Currently, Dr. Star serves as the Medical Director of Guiding Light Wellness Center , where she enjoys seeing patients of all ages with a multi-disciplinary approach.  She has expertise in the integration and treatment of mental health disorders with medical conditions.
