Why are eye exams important?
Author: Joel Solano

Many eye diseases can start out with no symptoms at all and early detection can mean more treatment options. As a general rule you should get at least a yearly eye exam even if you do not need glasses or contact lenses. If you are an older individual with risk factors for certain eye diseases, your eye doctor might recommend examinations more frequently than yearly. Remember – do not wait to have vision problems to see your eye doctor!
